Third call from the European Partnership Driving Urban Transitions

Up to NOK 45 million for Driving Urban Transitions to a Sustainable future for cities.

The purpose of this Call for proposals is to support transnational research and/or innovation projects addressing urban challenges to help cities in their transition towards a more sustainable economy and functioning. The challenges are grouped into three themes called ‘Transition Pathways’: Circular Urban Economies, 15-minute City and Positive Energy Districts.

This is the third Call of the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership, funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Partnership scheme. It is the second call which the Research Council of Norway participates in funding.

The support awarded to an undertaking is considered state aid. The support is assessed to fall within, and should only be used in accordance with, the EU General Block Exemption Regulation article 25 (Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014). Undertakings that fall under the state aid regulations' definition of "undertakings in difficulty" cannot receive support from the Research Council. More information here:
